CVE-2006-5591: PacPoll admin page lets attackers run database queries
CVE-2006-5591 · published 20 years ago
Summary
The admin/check.asp page in PacPoll versions up to 4.0 accepts user-supplied uid and pwd values without proper checks. An attacker could craft those inputs to run their own database commands, potentially viewing or altering stored data. Apply the vendor's patch or update to a protected version, and limit access to the admin page to trusted users only.
What to do
The CVE record does not list a fixed version. Check the vendor's site or the advisory links below - a fix may already be released.
