CVE-2006-4265: Kaspersky Anti-Hacker Stealth Mode leaks network info

CVE-2006-4265 · published 20 years ago
Summary

When Stealth Mode is turned on in Kaspersky Anti-Hacker version 1.8.180, the software still answers certain network queries that should be blocked. This lets remote computers discover timing and subnet details about your system, which could aid further attacks. Disable Stealth Mode or update to a version that correctly blocks these replies.
