CVE-2006-3734: Cisco CS-MARS CLI lets admin run commands as root

CVE-2006-3734 · published 20 years ago
Summary

Versions of Cisco CS-MARS earlier than 4.2.1 let a local administrator use the command‑line interface to run any command with full system privileges. This could allow the administrator to take complete control of the server and expose sensitive data. Upgrade to version 4.2.1 or later, or restrict administrative access, to eliminate the risk.
