CVE-2006-3183: MobeScripts Mobile Space Community lets attackers run scripts

CVE-2006-3183 · published 20 years ago
Summary

The web pages of MobeScripts Mobile Space Community (version 2.0 and earlier) do not properly clean user input, so a malicious user could insert harmful code into pages like profile updates, comments, blogs, file uploads, picture captions, or private messages. This could let the attacker hijack users' sessions, steal data, or display fake content. Apply the vendor's security patch or upgrade to a newer version as soon as possible.
