CVE-2006-1726: Firefox, Thunderbird, SeaMonkey may run malicious code

CVE-2006-1726 · published 20 years ago
Summary

Older versions of Firefox (1.5 before 1.5.0.2), Thunderbird (1.5 before 1.5.0.2) and SeaMonkey (before 1.0.1) can be tricked into executing code from a remote source. An attacker could use specially crafted web content to bypass normal safety checks and run anything they choose on the victim's computer. Upgrade to the latest versions of these browsers or apply the official patches as soon as possible.
