CVE-2006-1162: Nodez lets attackers read any PHP file

CVE-2006-1162 · published 20 years ago
Summary

Versions of Nodez up to 4.6.1.1 let a remote user trick the web server into opening files outside the intended folder by using ".." in a request parameter. This can expose sensitive code or data stored on the server. Update Nodez to a newer version or apply the vendor's patch to block the directory traversal.
