CVE-2006-0659: RunCMS allows remote code execution via file include

CVE-2006-0659 · published 20 years ago
Summary

RunCMS versions up to 1.2 let attackers supply a specially crafted URL that the system will load and run as code. This happens because certain settings let the software fetch external files and the affected scripts do not verify the source. Update RunCMS to a patched version or disable the vulnerable settings and restrict file inclusion to trusted locations.
