CVE-2006-0252: Benders Calendar 1.0 lets remote users run database commands

CVE-2006-0252 · published 20 years ago
Summary

The Calendar component in version 1.0 accepts year, month and day inputs without proper checks, allowing outsiders to send specially crafted data that can change or read the underlying database. This could let an attacker view, modify, or delete calendar information and potentially other data stored in the same system. Apply the vendor's security update or patch, and ensure input validation is added to block malicious data.
