CVE-2005-2658: Turquoise SuperStat could let attackers run code
CVE-2005-2658 · published 21 years ago
Summary
The Turquoise SuperStat program (version 2.2.4 and earlier) can be tricked by a specially crafted date from a remote news server into running unwanted code. This happens because the program does not properly limit the length of the month name it receives. Updating to the latest version or applying the vendor's patch will stop the problem.
