CVE-2005-1366: pico_server lets attackers download CGI script source

CVE-2005-1366 · published 21 years ago
Summary

The pico_server web server version 3.2 and earlier can be tricked into revealing the actual code of its CGI programs. By adding a special path like "dirname/../cgi-bin" to a request, a remote user can see the script files that should remain private. Update to a newer version or apply the vendor's patch to block this path manipulation.
