CVE-2004-1322: Cisco Unity server lets remote attackers read or change email

CVE-2004-1322 · published 21 years ago
Summary

Cisco Unity versions 2, 3 and 4 that work with Microsoft Exchange contain built-in usernames and passwords. Because of these default credentials, someone on the network can log in without permission, view incoming or outgoing email, and alter the system's settings. Update the system with the latest security patch or change the default credentials immediately to prevent unauthorized access.
