CVE-2003-0833 · published 22 years ago
Summary
The webfs file‑serving program version before 1.20 can be tricked into handling an overly long folder name, which overflows its memory buffer. This overflow lets an attacker run their own code on the server, potentially taking control of the system. Update webfs to version 1.20 or later, or apply the vendor's patch, to stop this risk.
