CVE-2001-1463 · published 24 years ago
Summary

The remote administration client in Serv-U version 3.0 sends the login password in readable form, even when a one‑time password method is turned on. This lets anyone watching the network capture valid credentials and gain unauthorized access. Apply the vendor's security update or switch to a newer version, and limit use of the remote admin client until it is fixed.
