CVE-2000-0985: All-Mail 1.1 lets remote attackers run commands
CVE-2000-0985 · published 25 years ago
Summary
All-Mail version 1.1 can overflow its memory when it receives an overly long MAIL FROM or RCPT TO address, letting a remote attacker execute any command on the server. This could let an outsider take control of the email system. Apply the vendor's security update or patch immediately and restrict external access to the mail service until it is fixed.
